Fenice 4.0 is now available

Hello everyone,
We’ve been hard at work to create the best version of Fenice yet and today you can finally check it out. As you probably already know, Fenice 4.0 has been rewritten from scratch by listening to all the feedback you’ve submitted via Uservoice, Twitter or email.
This time the update will be released to a small percentage of users first that will increase in the coming days to ensure a smooth rollout and to fix any migration issue that may occur. It will also be released on Desktop first with Xbox and Mobile coming later.
Let’s take a look at some of the new features and improvements included in this version:
Personalize your Homescreen
With Fenice 4.0 the Homescreen becomes really personal. If you have more than an account, you can use both at the same time and have as many columns as you like with your lists or a specific user timeline always ready for you to check. You can also change a single column width.
Jumplists in the hamburger menu help you to quickly see which column you currently have on your Homescreen and jump from one to another.
Quick user info
Want to see more info about an user from his tweet? Simply tap on its profile image and you’ll have his basic info without leaving the current page.
Quick actions under tweets
When you tap on a tweet, quick actions will now be displayed and you’ll be able to interact quicly without leaving the timeline. When a tweet is expanded additional info as the client used and the number of retweets and likes will be shown.
And what if you want to see replies to the tweet? Just tap on the penultimate button and there you go!
New tweet “page”
The tweet page has been designed as a flyout on the left of your Homescreen in order to give you the ability to continue reading other tweets and not having to change page. Same for the new message page.
If you have more than an account you can now send the same tweets from different accounts at the same time!
Messages
Waiting for a response in DM? DM conversations are now displayed without leaving the homescreen and messages are added in realtime.
Powerful mute filters
Mute filters have been improved and now are more powerful than ever. You can mute users, hashtags and client with expiration dates too!
You won’t need to go to settings to do this. There are many places from the app that allow you to mute the current user, hashtag, etc.
Custom accent
To make the app even more personal, you can choose any color you like or use the system accent color. Give it a try!
Onedrive automatic backup
With periodic backups on OneDrive you can quickly be ready to go on your new device.
NOTE: This backup does not include Accounts or settings.
Multilanguage support
Many of you asked us to support your native language and we delivered. In this release the app comes in English, Italian, Russian and Spanish.
More languages will come later but we need translators! If you want to help us translate Fenice in your language, contact us.
Xbox Support
In the coming days (after a small update), Xbox support will be enabled for you to enjoy. First Twitter app to support Xbox! (sorry for the screenshot quality)

A note on pricing, donations and trial
Starting from this version, Fenice will now offer a 7 days free trial.
There will also be a price change as the app will now be sold at 2.49$ on the Windows Store but discounted for a limited time to 1.75$ to celebrate the big update so hurry up!
The new versions add a donations tab. It’s not mandatory in any way and we don’t promote that inside the app but we’ll use that money to purchase a server and implement some cool stuff. (No ETA here, I’m just a student and servers are expensive sadly). Other ways to spread the love? Purchase the app and/or give us a nice review, it means the world to us!
