Fenice 4.0 - Q&A
Hello everyone,
here’s yet another update about Fenice 4.0. As you probably already know this is the biggest update to Fenice ever and we still need some time to release it.
We’ve noticed many of you have questions about the app and the update and we’re here to answer them!
What changes in Fenice 4?
Everything. Really. We basically created a new app with your feedback in mind.
Many improvements for big screens, Xbox support, and much more.
Do I have to pay again if I’ve already purchased Fenice?
No, the update is completely free. There will be ways to donate from the app if you want to show us your appreciation.
Are there features that have been removed?
We’re trying to improve all the features already available in the app although it’s possible that some unpopular features could be removed or changed.
Will there be design changes?
There will be changes to the design but it will remain familiar.
When will you release a beta? Which devices will it support? How can I help?
The beta will be released sometime in January and it will support only PCs/Tablets at the beginning.

Will you translate the app in [insert your language here]?

Will the beta be a full featured version?
No. If you expect a perfect app from the beta, I suggest to not signup. It will be buggy, could crash often and features will be enabled gradually in order to get feedback in different areas of the app.
Testers that will provide useful feedbacks and bug report will be selected for something special.
Can I post screenshots and bug reports on Twitter or any other social if I get selected for the beta?
Seriously, no. Use the ways we’ll provide.
Will it be available for Windows Holographic?
Hololens? Yeah, but you won’t have tweets walking around in your room. You’ll just have the app window that you can pin everywhere in your room.
When will you release the final version?
