Fenice 5.1 is now available for preview

Last year we released Fenice 5 after a year of hard work. Since then, we’ve added some new features and kept improving the app day by day by releasing a lot of updates. Well, we must admit that we have kept a secret. After releasing Fenice 5 we started working on a new major version that we internally codenamed “Fenice v-next”. Today that update is finally ready to preview. So, what’s new?

Performance updates

Fenice 5.1 comes with performance enhancements. We’ve made scrolling way smoother, improved startup speed and other various improvements. You’re going to notice the difference.

Fenice 5.1 comes with a redesigned interface in perfect Windows 11 style with Fluent icons and latest WinUI controls. You can now make it even more personal with all the new personalization options we’ve added.

We’ve also added custom font support (yes, even Comics Sans).

We’ve made several improvements to the Tweeting experience in Fenice.

New homescreen options

With Fenice 5.1 we’ve added a new homescreen layout option called “Fill window”.

With this option enabled your homescreen columns will adapt to the size of the window so that they’ll never be cut off.
